Synopsis

A collection of comics and stories, including -- "The Engine of Doom" , featuring Captain Marvel :   Billy asks Mr. Morris if he could go to Europe and ride back on a refugee rescue ship as the Gnazis have threatened to torpedo it, endangering the lives of innocent women and children. --  "The Mask's Fifth Column" , featuring Spy Smasher :   Spy Smasher, Eve and Admiral Corby are all in on the battle against the Mask's Fifth Columnists, many of whom are hiding in a mountain stronghold, awaiting orders from their leader to attack Washington. However, Spy Smasher has a plan to make the Mask think we have 10,000 robots manning planes that can shoot machine guns and drop bombs! --  "The Widow's Wishes" , featuring Ibis the Invincible :  Ibis and Taia are visiting Tommy at the Wade Hampton Military Academy when a careless boy sets off a powder magazine, destroying the whole campus!  Only one old professor survives... along with the Ibistick, which lands at the professor's feet. PLUS :  The Golden Arrow, Lance O'Casey, Dan Dare, and Doctor Voodoo!!
